Second Vice Chairperson of the Board

Rachel Dix is a finance and management professional with a strong background in homeownership advocacy and community engagement. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Management with a minor in Finance from Presentation College in Aberdeen, SD, and her Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University.

Rachel currently serves as the Director of Finance for Climate Control in Aberdeen, SD, overseeing financial operations and strategic planning. Previously, she was the Executive Vice President of the South Dakota Home Builders Association, where she worked with industry professionals statewide, hosted meetings with local, state, and national delegations, and advanced homebuilding initiatives. She was recognized with the National Association of Home Builders' 2019 Small Office Honor and served on several national committees and programs.

Rachel has been actively involved in the Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce, working closely with the Community Affairs Committee, and was recognized as the 2020 Emerging Leader Award recipient. She also contributed to the Aberdeen Area Realtors Association, promoting homeownership initiatives.

An active leader in her community, Rachel is a supporter of the local Boys and Girls Club, a member of the Sportsman’s Club, and serves as treasurer of the local Walleye Club.

She and her husband, Nathan, reside in Aberdeen. In their free time, they enjoy hunting, fishing, kayaking and spending time with their two dogs.
