Dakotaland Federal Credit Union branches out to the "Little Town on the Prairie" with a new office scheduled to open in De Smet. "A locally operated credit union office in De Smet gives Dakotaland the opportunity to better serve the expanding number of members that live and work in this growing community. We are pleased to be a part of the progressive commerce that exists in this town and look forward to bringing our full line of financial services to the residents of De Smet and the surrounding area." says Dakotaland FCU President, Dan Cumbee.

Dakotaland FCU and Helms Insurance intend to give the property a facelift with some remodeling and new signage. A late November opening date is anticipated and both occupants are excited about providing complimentary services to their customers and members. "We are pleased we could assist the Credit Union in setting up their new branch. It's promising to see a new business open its doors in our community.", commented local businessman, Dennis Helms.

Gruenhagen and Helms bring an impressive list of qualifications and many years of financial experience to the new branch. "We are lucky to have secured two very talented local employees to help launch the long line of products and services Dakotaland is able to offer our De Smet members." stated Cumbee. The list of services will range from the basic traditional to the latest in technology, while maintaining an emphasis on convenience. Your local credit union branch will offer Savings Accounts, Free Checking Accounts, Certificates of Deposit, IRAs, and Direct Deposit for starters.
