Dakotaland Federal Credit Union Reveals Building Plans

Watertown, South Dakota - August 29, 2017 Dakotaland Federal Credit Union moves forward on building plans for a new facility in Watertown, South Dakota. The old Goodyear Watertown Tire Center building located at Highway 212 and 11th Street SE has been demolished. The property is currently being cleared and will be the site for the newly constructed full-service facility. A ground breaking is scheduled for Tuesday, September 19th at 2 p.m. at the building site. The new credit union is expected to open for business in April of 2018.
Along with General Contractor, Mills Construction, Dakotaland has finalized plans for a 2-story, nearly 7,000 sq. ft. facility. It is designed to accommodate Dakotaland Federal Credit Union’s full line of financial services, which includes drive up and ATM accessibility. In addition, the structure will house 10 independent offices, allowing for continued growth and also rental space opportunities for anyone in search of professional workspace.
