The Huron Police Department has participated in National Night Out, since 2012. National Night Out is a worldwide campaign involving citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses and local officials. The program is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for and participation in local anti-crime programs. Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. National Night Out is always held the first Tuesday, in August. Huron hosts a community wide block party in Campbell Park, which is in the center of town. Stop by and take part in this event. We will be there serving up free sno kones from 5-8pm on Tuesday, August 1st.2017-08-01 17:00:002017-08-01 20:00:00America/ChicagoNational Night Out | HuronThe Huron Police Department has participated in National Night Out, since 2012.
